ABOUT US
Welcome to Crescent Oral Surgery. We’re a 55-person, three-office strong team of some of the most accomplished oral surgeons in the business.
We pride ourselves on keeping you informed, relaxed and smiling throughout your dental treatment.
The more oral surgery changes, the more it stays the same. In many ways, our story begins over three decades ago with a surgeon named Dr. Norman Aurlick. Dr. Aurlick practiced for thirty-five years in East Toronto and serviced his community with tremendous professionalism, care and compassion. He started what is now Crescent Oral Surgery.
Today, Crescent is a much larger practice, with three locations within the GTA. And while we have grown to offer an on-staff pathologist, radiologist, advanced technology, the latest software and access to unparalleled resources both here and abroad, we still hold on to the same values that made Dr. Aurlick so loved.
We put you first, we keep you informed, we make you comfortable and we do everything in our power to ensure a successful outcome for your surgical procedure.
We are currently hiring. If you are interested in a position with Crescent Oral Surgery, please contact us at recruitment@crescentoralsurgery.com.

Wisdom Teeth Removal
When wisdom teeth get “stuck” in the back of the jaw and can develop painful infections among a host of other problems. Since there is rarely a functional need for wisdom teeth, they are usually extracted if they develop problems.
Learn MoreDental Implants
Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything.
Learn MoreImpacted Teeth
Besides wisdom teeth, other teeth, such as the maxillary cuspid (upper eyetooth), can become impacted. The cuspid tooth is a critical tooth in the dental arch and plays an important role in your “bite.” If a cuspid tooth gets impacted, every effort is made to get it to erupt into its proper position in the dental arch.
Learn MoreSleep Apnea
People with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) have disrupted sleep and low blood oxygen levels. The first step in treatment resides in recognition of the symptoms and seeking appropriate consultation. Our oral and maxillofacial surgeons offer consultation and treatment options.
Learn MoreBone Grafting
Over a period of time, the jawbone associated with missing teeth atrophies. This often leaves a situation where we are unable to place dental implants. Performing bone grafting will allow us to place dental implants.
Learn MoreOral Cancer
There are several signs that can be detected on the lips, cheeks, palate and gum tissue that could point to oral cancer.
Learn MoreFacial Trauma
Our dental professionals are well versed in emergency care, acute treatment and long-term reconstruction and rehabilitation – not just for physical reasons but emotional as well. Our oral surgeons are trained, skilled and uniquely qualified to manage and treat facial trauma.
Learn MoreCorrective Jaw Surgery
Jaw surgery, or orthognathic surgery, is needed when the jaws don’t meet correctly and/or teeth don’t seem to fit with the jaws. Teeth are straightened with orthodontics and corrective jaw surgery repositions a misaligned jaw. This ensures that teeth meet correctly improving jaw function.
Learn MoreTMJ Disorders
TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders are a family of problems related to your complex jaw joint. If you have had symptoms like pain or a “clicking” sound, you’ll be glad to know that these problems are more easily diagnosed and treated than they were in the past. These symptoms occur when the joints of the jaw and the chewing muscles (muscles of mastication) do not work together correctly. Since some types of TMJ problems can lead to more serious conditions, early detection and treatment are important.
