Dr. David Segal has been a practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Toronto since 1982. After graduating from dental school at the University of Toronto in 1977, he did a general practice residency at the Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center in New York. His specialty training was done at the University of Connecticut and included one year as a resident in general surgery at Hartford Hospital.
Dr. Segal has been on active staff at Humber River Hospital since 1984. As well, he has been a clinical instructor in oral surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto for many years. In addition to being a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, he belongs to the Canadian and American Associations of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
For relaxation, Dr. Segal enjoys photography, reading history, music, playing the guitar and banjo and pretending to golf.
